For those interested in a hands-on learning experience, Mr. Rattan conducts mosaic/tile workshops. These have taken place in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Bailey Island, ME (permanent school), Chicago, IL, Dallas, TX, Arlington, VA, Helena, MT, Portland, OR, Madison, WI, Orlando, FL, Rockport, MA and Melbourne, Australia.

Eric Rattan combines the hands-on experience of tile making with lectures on it's technical challenges, shrink testing, warpage, frost free considerations etc. Similarly projects offered attendees a hands-on installation experience combined with a lecture on the many technical considerations required to achieve a permanent "1000 year plan" finished tile mural.

Dress for workshops is casual with work clothes recommended for the hands-on portion. Attendees with skin sensitivities are advised to bring rubber gloves. No other tools are required. Workshops are open to all skill levels. Registration is on a first come first served basis.

Cancellations for a full fee refund require thirty days notice. Workshops may be limited to 15 attendees or fewer.
