 Eric Rattan will offer his 3-day 'hardhat' technical mosaic/handmade tile installation workshop in the beautiful coastal area of Rockport, Massachusetts.Ý Rockport mosaic artist Pam Stratton will be hosting the workshop.
A wide variety of technical installation topics will be offered such as (but not limited to) cement, concrete, thin sets, mud setting, underlayments, mortars, building structure, interior/exterior considerations, showers, grouts, efflorescence and more. Each morning will consist of a 3-1/2 to four-hour lecture. Each afternoon will be a hands-on mud set stone mosaic installation.
All skill levels are welcome.Tuition is $275. Tile Heritage Foundation and Society of American Mosaic Artist members receive a $25 discount. Admission is first come, first served. Please send check to ERIC RATTAN, 5745 Elder Place, Madison, Wisconsin 53705.
