For students living on and off campus the purchase of renter’s insurance is recommended. While residents are not required to purchase this insurance, it is encouraged to purchase this form of insurance due to the many benefits it provides, should the need arise. Sickle Cell Blood Drive
UofL will sponsor a blood drive on Sept. 29, 10 a.m.–3 p.m., at the Red Barn. September is Sickle Cell Awareness Month. This blood drive will focus on the need for donors, to obtain the blood products necessary to treat sickle cell disease patients. Donors will receive a $20 Amazon gift card via email.
