Student Grievance Officer

University Housing 

University Housing will be launching the Fall 2023–Spring 2024 Housing Application on November 1 at 10:00 a.m. The Living and Learning Communities and the Themed Communities Application will be launching on November 1 at 10:00 a.m. as well. www.santafedesignstudio.com/housing
 

ACADEMICS

3-Minute Thesis (3MT) info session 

Applications for the 2022 3MT Competition are now open. Active doctoral and master’s students are eligible to compete. Public Health Minor in Epidemiology 

Students will develop critical thinking skills necessary to evaluate information on health and disease generated by epidemiologists and its role in shaping public health policies and actions. www.santafedesignstudio.com/sphis/academics

Graduate Certificate in PH Training 

The Graduate Certificate in Public Health Training is offered by SPHIS. The certificate provides individuals with skills required for a career in a public health setting. Raise Some L HQ 

Celebrate Raise Some L, UofL's day of giving, at our HQ stations on Wednesday, Oct 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Belknap (Humanities Quad) and HSC (courtyard). Learn how you can get involved, enjoy giveaways, and more. 

 SAB Cookout 

On October 19, from 11 a.m.–2 p.m., join SAB and Louisville Alumni for a cookout in the HSC quad. Students can show their ID for a free lunch (beginning at 11 a.m.) and also participate in UofL's Day of Giving and receive a pair of exclusive Cardinal socks!

2022 Bullitt Lecture in Astronomy  

UofL's biggest free event in astronomy takes place on Thursday, October 20 at 7 p.m. in the planetarium. Dr. Karan Jani from Vanderbilt will be talking to the Louisville community about black holes. Open to all students and the public.

The impact of regulation on business 

Students are invited to our fall lecture series featuring CEOs on running businesses. Join us Monday, 10/24, at 4 p.m. at Harry Frazier Hall in the College of Business for CaptiveAire Founder/CEO Bob Luddy, who will discuss government regulation and what it means to businesses and consumers. 16th Annual Anne Braden Memorial Lecture

When criminals go phishing, you don’t have to take the bait. Cybercriminals use phishing to trick you to collect personal and financial information. Phishing emails may appear to come from legitimate sources.
