Things to know about Recognized Student Organizations

Winter break safety tips 

The ULPD would like to remind our university community, whether you are traveling or remaining on campus, to take steps to safeguard yourself and your property this holiday break. 

• Ensure when away you lock your room or office door and take items of valuables with you. 
• If you are leaving your vehicle on campus, place your valuables in the trunk or out of sight and check to make sure the vehicle is locked. 
• If you have a bicycle on campus, consider moving it indoors, until you return to campus.
• Be observant of your surroundings when out and about, especially when carrying bags and packages.
• Utilize the ULPD Card Cruiser Escort.

Speak up 

Are you graduating this semester? Check your UofL email and fill out the Graduating Student Survey (GSS) to tell us about your UofL experience. This important survey helps us improve all that UofL has to offer. Your voice matters.

Preparing for the Doctoral Hooding Ceremony

Student stories needed

Commencement is designed to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of students each semester. The university seeks to highlight individual students as a way to illustrate the experiences many students share working toward graduation. We are looking for students to share their “story.” Specifically graduating students who had a great UofL experience, who had a unique UofL experience, who have exciting opportunities after graduation that may or may not relate directly to your chosen major, or students who have overcome challenges on their way to graduation. Individuals selected to be recognized will be contacted by the UofL Office of Communication and Marketing prior to Commencement. www.santafedesignstudio.com/student/form/commencementrecognition

December 6–14: 
Weekdays: 9:00 A.M.–9:00 P.M. 
Saturdays: 11:00 A.M.–5:00 P.M.

December 15: 9:00 A.M.–5:00 P.M.

A new course (AST 501/POLS 506) on US-China relations for both undergraduate and graduate students

The Fencing Club offers high-level instruction in all disciplines of the sport. Educational sessions are conducted in supervised, structured, and safe conditions.
